A small company that ships its own software.

GDM Digital Media Group is a software company in Carolina Shores, North Carolina. We build AI products, we run them ourselves, and we build the governance tooling that organizations need when AI is already in use across their staff.

How we work

We are small on purpose. Every product listed on this site was designed, built, and is operated by the same people who answer the contact form, which means there is no account manager between you and whoever actually wrote the code. For a pilot that has to clear a security review, that tends to be an advantage: questions get answered by someone who can change the answer.

It also sets a limit we would rather state than discover with you mid-engagement. We take on work we can do well at this size. If something needs a team we do not have, saying so early costs a project and saves a relationship.

What we build

Two threads run through the work. The first is AI quality: tools that make the output of a language model consistent enough to depend on, starting with the prompt rather than the model. The second is governance: the record-keeping and controls that let an organization show how AI is being used inside it, which is now a documented obligation for a growing number of public agencies.

Those threads meet in govFMP, which applies the scoring engine behind our consumer product to staff AI use inside a public agency, self-hosted, with the agency setting the rules. The Prompt QA Governance Standard it enforces is published in full and free to adopt, including by people who never buy anything from us.

Where we disclose

We operate a review site, bestAIpacks, and we also build products that belong in its categories. Reviews of our own tools are labelled as ours, on the page, with the drawbacks included. We would rather lose a click than have a reader find out later that the recommendation came from the company that built the thing.

The same rule applies to affiliate relationships. Where a link earns us a commission, the page says so. No vendor has ever paid for a ranking or a rating on any property we run.
